Cheesy Grilled Garlic Bread

Keep Cool and Make Cheesy Grilled Garlic Bread

With the heat wave that is gripping the States right now, grilling seems to be the coolest way to get dinner to the table and not heat up my house.  One of the things I refuse to give up, no matter what the heat outside is, is garlic bread.  This recipe works just as well on the grill as on a campfire, making Cheesy Grilled Garlic Bread a great addition to any meal no matter where you are.

Simple Ingredients for Cheesy Grilled Garlic Bread

Cheesy Grilled Garlic Bread takes 4 simple ingredients, but the flavor is phenomenal.  You can adjust the amount of garlic you use in Cheesy Grilled Garlic Bread to your personal tastes.  I love a lot of garlic, so I start with a whole bulb of fresh garlic.  It makes for a spicy, delicious side dish.  I also add a handful of parmesan cheese with the garlic, to give it not only a cheesy flavor but also to give the butter a little more body, making it easier to spread.  You might be tempted to use margarine in this recipe, if margarine is your thing, but the recipe really tastes so much better with real butter.  Personally, I only use butter in my recipes because I know what’s in it and how it’s made.  I can even make it at home if I want.  Butter gives Cheesy Grilled Garlic Bread the best flavor.  Lastly, the bread is pretty darn important.  I’ve always said the bread is the mode of transportation for the cheesy garlic butter, but it has to be a good loaf of bread.  I love a crusty loaf of Italian bread for Cheesy Grilled Garlic Bread.  It has great body and soaks up the butter, holding up to the rigors of grilling.
