Amazing Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups for Anytime

My kids love fruit any way they can get it.  When I thought about  making little cups out of a tube of cinnamon rolls though, they were excited!  What could be better than a pretty little cup made from a cinnamon roll, filled with perfectly ripe fresh fruit?  Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups is perfect for breakfast or dessert, or even a snack, and the cups are awesome to make ahead and have on hand.  I love making these for a quick and delicious dessert, especially when little fingers have been snitching blueberries for snacks and I’m down to just a few.

Making Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups is Easy

One of the reasons I love Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups is because of how easy it is to make them.  A tube of refrigerated caramel cinnamon rolls was all I needed to make the most adorable little cups.  I pressed them into a well-greased muffin tin, flattening them out for maximum space for the fruit.  A quick run through the oven and the cinnamon rolls were perfectly crisp and delicious.  Once cooled, I filled them with our favorite fruits, bananas and blueberries, and topped it with whipped cream before drizzling the caramel sauce that came with the rolls over the top.  Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups were a perfect dessert for a perfect day.

Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups for Sundaes

If you are an ice cream person, try making Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups in a larger muffin tin, pressing out the rolls a little thinner.  You’ll have more space to fill it up with your favorite ice cream flavor and toppings for the perfect sundae.  I love filling my Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups with cinnamon ice cream, then topping it with sauteed diced apples for an apple pie flavor you can’t beat.  The caramel sauce that comes with the cinnamon rolls is perfect drizzled over the top of that mess!  Change things up a little bit for your family with Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups.
