My kids love fruit any way they can get it.  When I thought about  making little cups out of a tube of cinnamon rolls though, they were excited!  What could be better than a pretty little cup made from a cinnamon roll, filled with perfectly ripe fresh fruit?  Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups is perfect for breakfast or dessert, or even a snack, and the cups are awesome to make ahead and have on hand.  I love making these for a quick and delicious dessert, especially when little fingers have been snitching blueberries for snacks and I’m down to just a few.

Making Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups is Easy

One of the reasons I love Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups is because of how easy it is to make them.  A tube of refrigerated caramel cinnamon rolls was all I needed to make the most adorable little cups.  I pressed them into a well-greased muffin tin, flattening them out for maximum space for the fruit.  A quick run through the oven and the cinnamon rolls were perfectly crisp and delicious.  Once cooled, I filled them with our favorite fruits, bananas and blueberries, and topped it with whipped cream before drizzling the caramel sauce that came with the rolls over the top.  Cinnamon Roll Fruit Cups were a perfect dessert for a perfect day.

  • 2 tubes caramel cinnamon rolls
  • cooking spray
  • 3 c fruit, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 can whipped cream


  1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Spray cups of a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  3. Press a cinnamon roll into each cup, pressing the dough up the sides.
  4. Bake the rolls for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and press the partially baked rolls into cups.
  5. Return to oven for another 5 to 10 minutes, until rolls are golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly, and remove from muffin tins. Repeat with the remaining raw cinnamon rolls.
  7. Place fruit in the cooled cups, layering if you have more than one variety.
  8. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with the caramel sauce that came with the rolls.
  9. Serve!
