Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers for Any Day

Who needs a fancy restaurant with a fancy price tag when you can make Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers at home any time in less than an hour?  With just a few ingredients from the grocery store, you can have this wonderful, fancy dinner on your table, to the delight of your family or guests.  I even have a few secrets I’ll share to keep those lean pork chops moist and tender, no matter how you cook them.

Making Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers

Let’s work our way from the bottom up in this delightful dish.  I started with tender red potatoes, scrubbed clean and diced, to make the mashers in Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers.  When mashing them, I added a bit of butter and sour cream, as well as a generous helping of this wonderful smoked bleu cheese I found at my favorite grocery store.  It added a depth that could not be found with other cheeses.  A bit of salt and pepper finished off the mashers to everyone’s taste.  I topped the mashers with a perfectly baked pork chop, which had been seasoned with Worcestershire sauce and a pat of butter, to keep the meat juicy and tender.  The whole dish was topped with onions, garlic, and a few mushrooms that were caramelized to utter perfection in some olive oil.  Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers was perfect, even on a Tuesday night.

Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers Revisited

Hindsight is always 20/20, especially when cooking dinner.  Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers was a phenomenal dish.  But after the dishes were done, I thought about ways to make it better.  I settled on two choices to make Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers even more phenomenal than it was.  The first was basting the pork chops with my favorite barbecue sauce while they were cooking.  That would add another layer of smoky flavor that would just be amazing.  The second way I thought of to create a change with Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers was teriyaki sauce.  Marinating the meat for an hour or overnight would bring an interesting sweetness and tanginess.  Either way, Pork Chops with Smoked Bleu Cheese Mashers are a great way to make a fancy meal in minutes on any night.
