I am so excited about Thanksgiving this year!!!! I will be taking the day off to relax and recharge. I will be spending the day with my mom, husband and kiddos. What could be better? I don’t know…maybe the fact that I am getting a TURKEY this year! My mom is making the turkey. Which means, we will have LOTS of leftovers. I am not sure what I am more excited about, the Turkey or the leftovers. Well, here is a list of recipes that may help to make your dinner better. Let’s start with the Turkey. This recipe for a No-Baste Turkey really turns out well, with no extra attention needed. The key to this one…BUTTER! Adjust the seasonings to your preference. The recipe calls for sage leaves, but I personally don’t LOVE them…so I leave them out. You could try other aromatics like Dill, fennel or basil. You could go smoky flavored with cumin, garlic and maybe some chili powder. It is really up to you, just don’t skip the butter.
